Electricians and Foremen
Gemini Electric is seeking: Several commercial or residential construction electricians and foremen to join our well-established team. We only hire for permanent, full-time positions. At least 5 years job site electrical experience required. However, feel free to apply if you have relevant electrical experience and would like to discuss what you can bring to our team.
We do check employment references. Daytime hours include Monday–Friday except when overtime is available.

About Us
Gemini Electric has performed hundreds of projects in the Capital Region over the last 26 years and is well-respected in the industry. Our management team has been working together for over 10 years.
Our projects remain within a 60-mile radius of the Clifton Park area, with the great majority being in the Capital District and Saratoga regions. We compensate for time and mileage if you are required to move from one project to another in a single workday.

Electrical Commercial Project Supervisor
An Electrical Commercial Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of electrical installations and repairs in commercial projects, ensuring compliance with safety codes, quality standards, and project timelines.
Role Overview
This role involves managing a team of electricians and technicians, coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients, and ensuring all electrical work is installed to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable regulations.
The supervisor must balance technical expertise with leadership to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and work schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor electricians; assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance.
- Quality & Compliance: Inspect installations to verify adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Safety Management: Enforce safe work practices, conduct site inspections, and prevent electrical hazards.
- Coordination: Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to address changes, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, including system failures and equipment malfunctions.
- Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance, repair, and inventory of electrical tools and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as an electrical supervisor or project manager in commercial or industrial settings.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems, NEC, and safety codes.
- Leadership: Strong managerial and interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and communicate effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and make quick, informed decisions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous record-keeping and compliance monitoring.
